White Chocolate Cake
This wonderful white chocolate cake is easy to make and absolutely
delicious. We've also included a white chocolate frosting recipe as

Cake with White Chocolate
1/3 cup (3 oz) white chocolate coating, chopped into pieces
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 egg yolks unbeaten
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
1 tsp baking soda
4 egg whites stiffly beaten
1 cup buttermilk
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degress. Grease 3 9" round pans using pan
grease.
- Melt white chocolate coating in microwave or double boiler. Allow
to cool.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add melted coating and vanilla.
- Sift flour and baking soda together. Add alternately with
buttermilk to creamed mixture.
- Gently fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Pour into greased pans. Bake at 350 degrees 30-35 minutes.
- Allow cakes to cool 10 minutes before turning onto rack.
Easiest White Chocolate Frosting
- 9 oz white chocolate coating, chopped into pieces
- 1 1/8 cups sour cream
Directions:
- Melt white chocolate in microwave or double boiler.
- Allow chocolate to cool until starting to set, add sour cream.
- If you would like a fluffier icing, beat the mixture after it has
cooled completely.
