Scooby Doo cake

My son wanted a Scooby Doo cake for his 3rd b-day. He wanted Scooby, Shaggy,a monster and a spooky house.

I made this out of a 12 in round pan for the bottom and I stacked loaf pans for the house. I have now learned that was a bad idea! I should have made the house out of marshmallow treats.

My house just about fell off the cake! I got all kinds of different candy to decorate with. The fence is pretzel sticks dipped in white candy melts (my 5yo did them)

The tree is just chocolate candy melts piped onto wax paper, we put them in the fridge for a little while to harden then stuck them in the cake (my 12 yo made them!)

The grave stone is a milano cookie and the dirt is just mashed up chocolate cookies. I did not have a set plan when I made this cake, I just kind of made it up as I went along. He loved it.
