Refrigerating Frosting

Refrigerating Frosting

Can you prepare your frosting ahead of time and keep it in the fridge?

Answer~

I would recommend refrigerating the icing if you are not going to use it for several days. If you plan on using it the same day or even the next, refrigeration is not necessary. I always like to make my icing a few days ahead of time so that I'm not running around all in one day to get everything ready :) Remember though to give the icing enough time to come to room temperature before you use it if you do refrigerate it.
