If your daughter is asking for a princess castle cake for her birthday

there are a number of castle birthday cake ideas that are both
beautiful and easy to make. Here are just a few of our favorite
princess cake ideas to get you inspired. Submit

3-D Castle Cake
If you’re looking to create an extravagant 3-D castle cake
for the little princess in your life, it’s definitely not as
hard as it looks. Towers and freestanding objects on the castle can be
hard to make for the inexperienced cake creator but thankfully there
are ways to create a beautiful princess castle with very little or no
cake cutting or shaping skills required.
To make your castle cake simply bake a large round cake and use simple
decorating techniques and cake accessories to create and design your
castle. We recommend buying the Romantic Castle Cake Kit made by
Wilton.
This kit comes with numerous plastic towers and tower toppers
of various sizes, simply make one large cake or stack several in the
size of your choosing and frost. When you are ready to decorate, simply
place and adhere the towers where you would like them to be. For extra
color, place dyed ice cream cones over the tower toppers.

Castle Cake Pans
If you don’t have the time or patience for accessories, you
may
want to consider using a preshaped cake pan to create your princess
castle cake. You can find these pans at virtually any craft store or
find them online. These pans allow you to focus more of your energy on
decorating the cake, rather than assembling it.
If you are looking for a beautifully designed cake pan, we recommend
using the Enchanted Castle Cake pan and instructions available from
Wilton. Simply bake your cake and decorate using your little
princess’ favorite colors to create a masterpiece she is sure
to
enjoy.
Princess Castle Toppers
By far the easiest of our castle cake ideas is to use an accessory or
topper kit. There are many varieties of these kits available and they
usually contain a premade castle and possibly a princess. To use these,
make a large 13x9 sheet cake and frost. Place your castle where
you’d
like it to sit and then decorate the rest of the cake.
With the remaining space around the castle, you can create an
environment where your castle can stand. You can use piping bags and
tips to create a beautiful spring garden or even a moat!
