Pokemon Cakes
These Pokemon cakes and decorating ideas are perfect if you have a
pokemon fan at your
house. A simple cake decorating idea is to make a pokeball. It
takes very little work and kids will love it. For more in depth
decorating try making a pokemon figure. Pokeballs also make great
cupcakes.
This pokeball cake is created with white frosting and
red spray mist. (You can tint
your icing red instead) Finish off with brown
or black stars for the line and circle down the middle.
This
is Diglett, a Pokemon figure that resembles a mole digging in the dirt.
A very easy cake decorating idea. He is frosted with chocolate icing.
Black icing was used to outline his eyes and nose. The "dirt" is cake
pieces frosted and rolled in Oreo cookie crumbs.
Free Cake Decorating Ideas:
- Find a simple coloring page of your child's favorite Pokemon.
Trace it onto your cake and frost to match
the picture.
- Shape
your cake like a Pikachu head like this cake picture or use a
round ball pan for his head and decorate accordingly. You can make
cookie shaped ears or non eatable ears made of cardboards and frosted
yellow and black.

to decorate the top of your cake. You can often buy a cake decorating
kit that comes with figurines. See ideas below.
- You can use a two layer round cake for a pokeball if you don't
have a round or ball shaped pan.
