Maple Frosting Recipe
You'll love this maple frosting recipe if you've ever had a maple bar
or doughnut and loved it. This would be a great frosting on a spice
cake or
white cake or used as
a filling.
3 Cups powdered sugar
1/3 Cup butter, softened at room temperature
3 Tablespoons milk
1/3 Cup maple syrup or 1 teaspoon maple extract
pinch of salt
In mixer, blend powdered sugar and butter together. Add milk, syrup and
salt. Blend until smooth. If using maple extract you may need to add a
few more tablespoons of milk to get the right consistency.
