Halloween Birthday Cake

I made this cake for my son's sixth birthday, which falls around Halloween so thought it would be appropriate theme.

Bake a chocolate cake in a round tin, to make the orange icing combine two drops of yellow and one drop of rose pink.

For the eye's nose and mouth I cut them out from a black piece of paper, for the body parts i bought them in a toystore "toys r us" , to make the dirt, I blended a packet of oreo biscuits, the coffin with the skeleton i purchased from crazy clarkes, used black icing gel in a tube for the lines on the pumpkin , which can be purchased from coles in assorted colours, used fake spiders purchased from the toy shop also. The kids were so fascinated with this cake. This was all my own creative idea's.

I enjoyed seeing the children s faces on the day!!! lol
