Covering Cupcakes with Poured Fondant

First, frost your cupcakes with buttercream frosting. Set aside while you prepare the fondant.

To make poured fondant you can use any type of fondant whether store bought or homemade. Place small amount of fondant in a microwave safe dish. Add 1-2 teaspoons water. Cook in the microwave for 10-20 seconds at a time. Stirring each time. If mixture is too thick, add more teaspoons of water. When fondant has become liquid you are ready to cover your cupcake.

Dip top of cupcake in your melted fondant. Allow to set. You can dip your cupcake more than once if you'd like a smoother top. Add whatever decorations you'd like or serve as is.

Use a great tasting fondant for best results!
