Our local hero company
Our local volunteer fire department was having a fund raiser for a new brush truck. I volunteered to make some cakes for the silent auction.
These were all buttercream cakes made with Wilton pans in the shape of the fireman's companion- the dalmatian, the truck he uses to get him where he needs to be (with an additional firedog present in color flow) and the fireman himself with his hose ready to work and his companion present (also in color flow).
The decorations were with tip 21 stars and 12 for the smooth areas, 5 for outlining.
The last fireman was made with the Wilton Little Hero Pan, which was appropriate for what they all do. Covered with buttercream and using the star, round tips throughout with a shell border in yellow and red.
