horse cookies
The cake was made for a little girl that loved horses. The pan was a pantastic horse pan decorated in buttercream with 18 star tip for the majority, 4 for the outlining and eyes, 32 for the shell border, multi tip for the mane, grass, and drop flower tip for the flowers.
Along with the cake, I found some cute horse pictures and used them to make sugar cookies for a bouquet for her decorated with color flow icing. I made one copy for making the color flow designs to allow them to dry, and another to use as a cookie cutter shape that I just outlined on top of the sugar cookie dough, the cut out with a sharp pointed knife on the parchment paper, so I just needed to pull the excess away and transfer the parchment paper to the cookie sheet.
