Easter Basket

Trying to find uses for those funny oval pans. Turned it into an Easter Basket using royal icing & gum paste flowers. The "handle" is card stock wrapped in aluminum foil. Wrapped again in ribbon to match my icing (which the recipe comes out off white).

Basket weaved the bottom, used the "grass tip" and added borders n flowers. This was a yellow cake w/rum flavored butter cream for the gals at my Dr's Office.
