okay, I made my first cake for my dad's 46th birthday and it started to crack as it was cooling. How do I keep it from cracking. Also when I tried to put the crumb coat on, the cake tried to come off as i was frosting it. It also tried to come off as i was putting my final coat on. And when I tried to smooth it, my edge was rounded. How do I get it to have a sharp edge for me to work with? (I used 2 9in round cake pans, do I need to get a different pan)
