This is my first attempt at decorating a Christmas cake. The cake is a light fruit cake. I covered the cake in fondant icing and left it to dry overnight.
The frosting is a 7 minute frosting. Plastic holly leaves were pre-painted with green acrylic artists paint.
I used a Santa Claus candle, little ornamental deers and a Merry Christmas (plastic) greeting. I then used miniature marshmallows as a quick and easy border.
