CAKE POP'S in a Lucite Holder

CAKE POP'S in a Lucite Holder

LUCITE HOLDER

I am involved in opening a coffee shop here in Norfolk Virginia. I have never been a Baker, always a Cook. I started making cake pops for our soon to be opening shop, as well as other baked goods.

I first saw the cake pop at Starbucks this past summer. I understand it was a test market and that they will be bringing them back in the Spring 2011. Of course I had to have Bakerella's book and ordered it.

But How to display them upright?

Starbucks had them in Cups which always looked precarious to me so I decided to use a lucite display stand that I bought at a local "display shop".

I turned it upside down and drilled holes two inches apart in zig zag pattern. This one holds twelve pops.. their little feet do not touch because of the wrappers which is fine..they kinda tilt in a cute way!
