Ball Cake Pans

You can create a lot of fun cakes using ball cake pans. There are actually a few different pans you can use to get the results. We'll tell you about them and how to use them, as well as give you ideas on what to do with that ball cake.

Betty Crocker Bake and Fill Pan

I love this cake because you can make ice cream cakes and I love ice cream cakes! I'll show you how to make an ice cream cake here.

Betty Crocker 4-pc. Bake 'N Fill Set

This pan set comes in different shapes one is a dome shape like the picture above the other is a ball shape perfect for creating sports balls, Barbie doll cakes, a ladybug cake etc. The fun thing about this cake pan is you can decorate the inside as well as the outside.

Oven Safe Batter Bowl

I use this batter bowl along with a 9 inch round cake to make a Barbie doll cake.
This cake takes about 1- 1 & 1/2 hours to bake.

Wilton Ball Cake Pan

Wilton Sports Ball Pan Set

Of course there are the traditional cakes you can make out of this pan like a basketball cake, bowling ball cake or baseball. But how about creating a Mickey Mouse head, a planet, a dinosaur or a Pikachu head.

Mini Ball Pan

These make great individual cakes. How about having each child decorate their own ball for a party? These also make small doll cakes that turn out really cute for each kid at the party or at a bridal shower party.
